6 days on Kauai Island:
Day 1:
Landed in Kauai in evening, checked in our hotel- Westin Princeville
Day 2:
Kilauea light house in Princeville good drive and multiple spots to stop around and take pictures
Opaeka falls lookout good place for sunset and watcing the Wailua River nearby with cruise/kayaking in it.
Day 3:
Princeville botanical garden - Spent more than half a day here exploring the gardens and tropical trees and flowers in a guided tour.
Luau cultural Hawaiian experience - Luau kalamaku. The show was great but since it was Thanksgiving it was crowded with lot of kids and families. If you want more private one with more adults you will have to search others. The one we did in Maui was more private and adults only.
Day 4:
Helicopter ride - This is a must to on Kauai island, half day activity. Whole island looks amazing from chopper with so many live waterfalls. Helicopter rides deep into park where Jurassic Park was shot.
Poipu beach park This had great beach and nice area to sit around for public. There were restaurants nearby for lunch or evening hangout drinks or dinner. We loved this one for dinner - RumFire Poipu beach restaurant, great sushi
Day 5:
NaPali Coast State Wilderness Park and Waimea Canyon State Park - This is a one day drive and very good spots on the way. We did the Canyon lookout first and then a small trail on Kalalau Lookout spot. The most famous Kalalau Trail was closed when we went.
On the way back we stopped at Polihale Beach/State Park. Its a super serene beach and very clean. Wish we had stayed there longer.
Day 6:
Hanalei Pier/Bay area - This was nice little town to have lunch and hangout/chill. This side has a dinner restuarnt named - Princeville Resort Kauai. It has nice live music and great for ending the evening. This same restaurant also has outdoor seating breakfast area, if you go in the morning it might have great ocean views to watch.
